Arrival in Tanzania Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will be there to greet and welcoming you in Tanzania or in Kilimanjaro and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi town. You will have the opportunity to meet your guide, who will provide a briefing on your upcoming trek and conduct an equipment check to ensure you have all the necessary mountain gear. If any gear is missing, it can be rented on this day. Meals will not be available on arrival day

    Day 1  :  Marangu Gate (1860m) to Mandara Hut (2700m)

    Distance covered: 8.3km / 5.2meter Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included After a morning pre-climb briefing and introductions with our team who will be with them to assist you during you trek .Also we will drive to the Marangu Gate, located at 1,860m. At the gate, our head guide will handle all the necessary permits and registration for rescue and search services. You will then begin the trek to Mandara Hut at 2,700m. The trail will lead you through the rainforest, where rain showers are common, so it is advisable to bring a raincoat. It's important to take precautions for acclimatization, including avoiding caffeine and alcohol, drinking plenty of fluids, and considering the use of altitude sickness medication like Diamox under medical guidance.

    Day 2  :   Mandara Hut (2700m) to Horombo Hut (3700m)

    Distance covered: 12.5km / 7.8mi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included After an early breakfast, the trek continues. You will leave Mandara Hut and pass through the timberline, entering the heath and moor zone. After approximately 4 to 6 hours, you will arrive at Horombo Hut at an altitude of 3,700m. From the hut, you will enjoy magnificent views of Mawenzi, Kibo, and the vast plain of the Masai steppe.

    Day 3  :  Horombo Hut (3700m) to Kibo Hut (4700m)

    Distance covered: 9.5km / 5.9mi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included After breakfast, you will continue your trek to Kibo Hut at 4,700m. The day's hiking is not overly difficult, but it's important to maintain an appropriate pace to conserve your energy for the upcoming climb to the summit. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, lunch will be served. It is recommended to rest, avoid strenuous activity, and hydrate well in preparation for the summit push

    Day 4  :  Kibo Hut (4700m) to Uhuru Peak (5895m) and down to Horombo Hut (3700m)

    Distance covered: 22km / 13.7mi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included This day is the big day as you embark on the final ascent to the summit. The climb will begin around midnight and will be long and physically demanding. You will pass the Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m and continue steadily upwards. As the sun rises, you will reach Gilman's Point (5681m), located on the crater rim of Kilimanjaro. The warmth of the sun will help alleviate the cold of the night. After another 1 to 2 hours of hiking, you will reach the ultimate goal: Uhuru Peak at 5895m, the highest point of Kilimanjaro. Take in the breathtaking views and celebrate your achievement. Afterward, you will descend to Kibo Hut for a warm meal and a short rest before continuing the descent to Horombo Hut.

    Day 5  :  Horombo Hut (3700m) to Marangu Gate (1860m)

    Distance covered: 20.8km / 12.9mi Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Included On the final day of your trek, you will pass through the heath land and moor zone, making your way to Mandara Hut at 2700m. There, a warm lunch will be waiting for you. You will then continue through the tropical rainforest until you reach the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate at 1860m. After bidding farewell to your mountain guides, a short transfer will take you back to your hotel in Moshi. Take the opportunity to enjoy a warm and relaxing shower, and celebrate your successful summit of Kilimanjaro
